About AltcoinCalc and its methodology
AltcoinCalc is a browser worksheet for mining electricity arithmetic. It is published by the same operator as IntelligentPool; links to that pool are related-project promotion, not independent recommendations.
Calculation method
The tool combines your coin-per-24-hour input, operating hours, price, fee and rejected/stale-work adjustment. Energy is wall watts ÷ 1,000 × hours. Break-even $/kWh is adjusted scenario revenue ÷ energy. Net/day subtracts the entered electricity cost. Read the worked method and example before interpreting a result.
Data provenance and limits
CoinGecko prices are a separate market-data input when available. You can enter a price manually. The worksheet does not measure live network difficulty, your actual hashrate or your earned payouts. Its 12 researched coins are a historical worksheet set, not a promise that IntelligentPool offers every coin. Check current pool availability.
